Pharmacy NAPLEX Examination

Effective May 1, 2018, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) will begin evaluating candidates’ eligibility to sit for the North American Pharmacist Licensing Examination (NAPLEX) Applicants applying for a Michigan pharmacist license by examination or endorsement must have obtained a passing score on the NAPLEX prior to submitting an application for licensure to Michigan. If you passed the NAPLEX for another state, you must contact the NABP to have your score released to Michigan.

In addition, an applicant who is applying for relicense and whose pharmacist license in Michigan has been lapsed for 8 years or more must retake and pass the NAPLEX examination within 2 years of applying for relicensure.
