The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) will never ask you to provide credit card numbers or other personal information by phone, text, email, or mail. LARA has identified fraudulent communications impersonating department staff. These scams may include requests for payment or personal information. Please do not respond to these messages and report any suspicious activity to LARA‑Safety@michigan.gov. How to Resubmit a Document in MiCLEAR
Important:
For best results, use a desktop or laptop computer. You may have trouble using a mobile device (i.e., Smartphone, iPad, etc.).Please make sure you have registered with a MiCLEAR account and have linked your license before starting this process. Need to amend your document and upload changes?
Once reviewed by staff, your submission may need additional information. If this happens, make the appropriate corrections to your document, and then resubmit your document.
Getting Started
1. Visit www.michigan.gov/MiCLEAR
2. Click on "Login to MiCLEAR"
Step 1: Sign In
1. Enter Username or Email
2. Enter Password
3. Click on "Sign In"
Step 2: Resubmit Document
To find your correct record number:
- Click on "Licenses"
- Find your record number. This number will be your license number followed by the suffix determined by the type of application submitted (see example in screenshot). This number will be in the Additional Information Required email that you would have received from our office.
- Click directly on that number.
NOTE: Documents may be resubmitted to the application records in the screenshot. (Record numbers are examples.)
Step 3: Record Information and Attachment
- Click on "Record Info"
- Click on "Attachments"
Step 4: Upload Attachment
Upload the revised document by clicking on "Add" and following the same steps as when you originally submitted your document.
File Upload:
- Click on "Add". You will need to find the desired saved document on your computer (double click on it.)
- Clicking on the document on your computer will upload the file. Click on “Continue.” Click on "Save."
Upload Successful
You will see a green confirmation bar at the top of the screen once your document is uploaded.
Once successfully resubmitted, your document is placed in your responsible worker’s queue to review for completeness and accuracy. Your submission of the document does not mean it is acceptable and approved. If anything further is needed, you will be contacted.
