Security Guard Sole Proprietor
Someone who owns an unincorporated business. The entity is formed at the county level. Upload a Certificate of Doing Business as ("DBA") from the County Clerk in which the business is located.
Security Guard Agency
The company is formed at the state level as a corporation, limited liability company, etc. Please contact the Corporations Division for more information on how to form a company in Michigan.
Security Guard Branch
This is a license for an alternative location(s) in Michigan. You must have an active Security Guard Agency or Security Guard Sole Proprietor license to apply for a branch license.
