Hospital Liquor Permit

     A Hospital Liquor Permit is issued by the Commission to hospitals allowing them to purchase spirits for the hospital's own use from the Commission at a discount of 24% of the retail price set by the Commission. There is no fee for the permit.

Indian Tribal Permit

    An Indian Tribal Permit is issued by the Commission to Indian tribes in Michigan that operate a Class III gaming establishment.  The permit allows the tribe to purchase spirits from the Commission at a 17% discount.  Beer, wine, and mixed spirit drink products are purchased from Wholesaler licensees that service the area where the gaming facility is located.

    Each Class III gaming establishment must obtain a separate permit for each location.  There is no fee for the permit.

Military Permit

    A Military Permit is issued by the Commission to military installations allowing them to purchase spirits from the Commission. These locations must be located on military installations such as Air Force Bases, Coast Guard Bases, National Guard Bases, etc. and allow the base to purchase spirits from the Commission for resale in their clubs or stores. There is no fee for the permit.
