Server Training Programs

Within 180 days of being issued a license or transferring 50% or more interest in a license, on-premises licensees (retailers and manufacturers with tasting rooms) are required to provide proof of the completion of an approved server training program.  At a minimum, server trained supervisory personnel must be employed during all hours alcoholic beverages are served as outlined in MCL 436.1501(1).  You may contact the MLCC's Executive Services Division for more information at 517-284-6270 or via email at MLCCServerTraining@michigan.gov.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of the above noted programs are offered in other states. You must complete a program that covers Michigan requirements.
