Cannabis Regulatory Agency and LE Battle Creek Sign Consent Order and Stipulation to Resolve Formal Complaint

The Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) announced that it filed a formal complaint on February 2, 2026, against the adult-use license of LE Battle Creek, Inc (License No. AU-R-000261), located at 4203 E Centre Ave., Portage, Michigan.

On March 23, 2026, the CRA and LE Battle Creek, Inc signed a Consent Order and Stipulation resolving the matter. The agreement follows findings that LE Battle Creek, Inc transferred cannabis products from an expired license, in violation of state administrative rules.

As part of the settlement, LE Battle Creek, Inc acknowledged the issue, implemented corrective administrative measures, and voluntarily destroyed the affected product. The company also agreed to additional staff training and compliance improvements to prevent future violations.

Under the terms of the Consent Order, the license will be suspended for 14 business days, beginning March 30, 2026. In addition, LE Battle Creek, Inc is required to pay a fine of $15,000.

The CRA determined that the resolution of this matter serves the public interest and ensures continued compliance within Michigan’s regulated cannabis market.
