Program overview

MCTI’s Retail Marketing Program operates the Eagle Shack, the on-campus store. Students learn hands-on customer service/personal selling, cash handling, inventory control, merchandizing, and promotion/advertising in a real-life setting. They also receive training in National Retail Skill Standards for loss prevention and safety procedures.

Depending on skills, abilities and interests, students can participate up to three terms.

Job opportunities increase with completion of training. Starting pay may range from the current minimum wage to a higher amount depending on the location of the job.
