Marquette State Fish Hatchery is open to the public daily from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Please call in advance to schedule guided group tours: 906-249-1611 ext. 324.
This facility was established in 1920 and produces the following species for both inland and Great Lakes waters:
Marquette State Fish Hatchery is the primary broodstock and rearing location for brook trout and lake trout and the only hatchery producing splake, a hybrid of brook trout and lake trout!
