ACKLEY LAKE - R281.713.7 - Operation of vessel powered by motor.

7. On the waters of Ackley lake, sections 2, 3, 10, and 11, T1S, R6W, Convis township, Calhoun county, it is unlawful to operate a vessel powered by a motor except an electric motor.

CHANNEL CONNECTING CLARK LAKE AND BELL LAKE - WC-13-99-001 - Slow-no wake speed.

On the waters of the channel connecting Clark Lake and Bell Lake from the mouth of the channel at Clark Lake to the channel's end in Bell Lake all within sections 23 and 26, town 1 south, range 4 west, Clarence township, Calhoun county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

CLEAR LAKE - R281.713.4 - High-speed boating and water skiing hours.

4. On the waters of Clear lake, township of Pennfield, county of Calhoun, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day, shall:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

COBB'S CHANNEL CONNECTED TO GOGUAC LAKE - R281.713.5 - Slow-no wake speed.

5. On the waters of Cobb's channel, connected to Goguac lake, section 22, town 2 south, range 8 west, Battle Creek township, Calhoun county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

GOGUAC LAKE - R281.713.8 - Speed restriction.

8. On the waters of Goguac lake, city of Battle Creek, Calhoun county, it is unlawful, at any time, to operate a vessel in excess of 40 miles per hour (64 kilometers per hour).

LITTLE NOTTAWASSEPPEE LAKE - R281.713.2 - High-speed boating and water skiing prohibited.

2. On the waters of Little Nottawasseppee lake, Tekonsha township and Fredonia township, county of Calhoun, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

NOTTAWASSEPPEE LAKE - R281.713.1 - Hours of high-speed boating and water skiing.

1. On the waters of Nottawasseppee lake, Tekonsha township and Fredonia township, county of Calhoun, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, or

(b) Have in tow or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

NOTTAWASSEPPEE LAKE TO LITTLE NOTTAWASSEPPEE LAKE, CHANNEL CONNECTING - R281.713.3 - Slow-no wake speed.

3. On the waters of the channel connecting Nottawasseppee lake to Little Nottawasseppee lake, Tekonsha township and Fredonia township, county of Calhoun, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed.

NOTTAWA CREEK - WC-13-92-001 - Slow-no wake speed.

On the waters of the Nottawa creek, section 34, T3S, R6W, Fredonia township, from Little Nottawa lake to the west right-of-way of I-96, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

PRAIRIE LAKE - WC-13-08-001 - Slow-no wake speed.

On the waters of Prairie Lake, all located within sections 32 and 33, town 1 south, range 4 west, starting at a point due west of the residence located at 18535 26 1/2 Mile Road, running in a southerly direction to a point located 200 feet south of the southern lot line at 18491 26 1/2 Mile Road, in Clarence township, county of Calhoun, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

Slow-no wake speed means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and/or with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

UPPER AND LOWER BRACE LAKES, CHANNEL CONNECTING - WC-13-95-001 - Slow-no wake speed.

On the waters of the channel connecting Upper and Lower Brace lakes, all within section 12, T3, R6W, Fredonia township, Calhoun county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoy must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

WELCH'S CHANNEL CONNECTED TO GOGUAC LAKE - R281.713.6 - Slow-no wake speed.

6. On the waters of Welch's channel, connected to Goguac lake, section 22, town 2 south, range 8 west, Battle Creek township, Calhoun county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
