SPECIAL LOCAL WATERCRAFT CONTROLS - MIDLAND COUNTY

SANFORD LAKE, - WC-56-01-001 - Slow-no wake speed

On the waters of Sanford Lake, on that portion being from the southern most part of the Tobacco River mouth where it connects to Sanford Lake up to the northern side of the M-30 Bridge, township of Edenville, county of Midland, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

SANFORD LAKE, PORTION OF - R281.756.1 - Slow--no wake speed.

1. On that portion of the waters of Sanford lake, section 13 and 24, T15N, R1W, village of Sanford and Jerome township, Midland county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed when within 200 feet of the US-10 highway bridge.

SANFORD LAKE, CONNECTING WATERS - R281.756 2 - Slow-no wake speed.

2. On the waters of Black creek, section 11, T15N, R1W, Jerome township, Midland county, from the West River road bridge downstream to Sanford lake, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

WIXOM LAKE CANAL (a.k.a. DAVID'S DRAIN CANAL)- WC-56-05-001 - Slow-no wake speed.

On the waters of Wixom Lake Canal, also known as David's Drain Canal, Section 3, town 16 north, range 1 east, Hope township, Midland county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.
