BELLE RIVER, FROM KING ROAD TO MARINE CITY - R281.774.9 - Slow-no wake speed.

9. On the waters of the Belle river, sections 24, 25, and 36, town 4 north, range 16 east, township of East China, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, downstream from King road to the north city limits of Marine City, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

10. On the waters of the Belle river, sections 1 and 12, town 3 north, range 16 east, within the limits of Marine City, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

Rule 11. On the waters of the Black River, commencing at a point 600 feet southeast of the interstate highway 94 bridge to a point 800 feet northwest of the bridge, sections 3 and 4, town 7 north, range 17 east, township of Port Huron, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

Rule 12. On the waters of the Black River commencing at a point 1,000 feet south of the intersection of the Black River and the Black River canal, to a point 500 feet northwest of the intersection, section 27, town 7 north, range 17 east, township of Port Huron, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

Rule 13. On the waters of the Black River commencing at a point 1,000 feet south of the intersection of the Black River and the Black River canal, to a point 500 feet northwest of the intersection, section 27, town 7 north, range 17 east, township of Fort Gratiot, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

BLACK RIVER - R281.774.18 - Slow-no wake speed.

18. On the waters of the Black river located within the city limits of Port Huron, from a point 600 feet southeast of the interstate highway 94 bridge to a point 2,100 feet southeast of the bridge, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

BLACK RIVER - WC-74-95-001 - Slow-no wake speed.

On the waters of the Black canal that intersects the Black river from the eastern shoreline traveling westerly 3,000 feet upstream to the Willow Ridge golf course, all within section 28, town 7 north, range 17 east, Fort Gratiot township, St. Clair county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

The boundaries of the lines described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

5. On the waters of the Black river, commencing at a point 1,000 feet south of the intersection of the Black river and the Black river canal to a point 500 feet northwest of the intersection, city of Port Huron, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow--no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

BLACK RIVER CANAL - R281.774.16 - Prohibited conduct.

16. (1) On the waters of the Black River canal, sections 26 and 27, T7N, R17E, city of Port Huron, St. Clair county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

(2) On the waters of the Black River canal, extending from Gratiot avenue easterly to Lake Huron, section 26, T7N, R17E, city of Port Huron, St. Clair county, it is unlawful for a person to:

(a) Swim or fish.

(b) Moor or anchor a vessel, except in cases of emergency.

BLACK RIVER, FROM MOUTH TO GRAND TRUNK BRIDGE - R281.774.3 - Speed restriction.

3. On the waters of the Black river, commencing at its mouth at the St. Clair river to the Grand Trunk Western railroad bridge, a distance of 8,000 feet, more or less, city of Port Huron, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

CHANNELS AND CANALS, CITY OF ALGONAC - R281.774.8 - Slow-no wake speed.

8. On the waters of all other channels and canals, city of Algonac, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the motorboat would be minimal.

LAKE ST. CLAIR, CERTAIN CHANNEL - R281.774.2 - Slow-no wake speed.

2. On the waters of that portion of Lake St. Clair, city of New Baltimore, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, in a channel which extends 500 feet southerly from a harbor entrance at 42040'21" north latitude and 82044'17" west longitude, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed. (See R281.750.4 and R281.750.5 for regulation concerning the part of this lake lying in Macomb county.)

LAKE ST. CLAIR; CERTAIN CREEKS, CHANNELS, AND CANALS - R281.774.1 - Slow-no wake speed.

1. On the waters of Crepeau (also known as Frog) creek, Marsac creek, and all natural and artificial channels and canals in the city of New Baltimore, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed.

PINE RIVER IN CITY OF ST. CLAIR - R281.774.14 - Slow-no wake speed.

14. On the waters of the Pine river, city of St. Clair, St. Clair county, within the city limits, it is unlawful for an operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

ST. CLAIR RIVER - WC-74-86-002 - Slow-no wake speed.

On that portion of the St. Clair river located within the city limits of Marine City, Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

ST. CLAIR RIVER - WC-74-86-003 - Slow-no wake speed.

On that portion of the St. Clair river located within Cottrellville township, St. Clair county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

ST. CLAIR RIVER AND CONNECTED WATERS - R281.774.15 - Slow-no wake speed.

15. (1) On the waters of the St. Clair river, from its confluence with the Black river, downstream to Lake St. Clair, including its north channel, middle channel, the Chenal A Bout Rond (the Sni Bora), the south channel, Baltimore highway, Big Fisher highway, and Sears highway, it is unlawful for:

(a) The operator of a vessel less than 26 feet in length to exceed a slow-no wake speed when within 200 feet of any shore, dock, or pierhead, and within the jurisdictional boundaries of the state of Michigan.

(b) The operator of a vessel 26 feet or more in length to exceed a slow-no wake speed when within 600 feet of any shore, dock, or pierhead, and within the jurisdictional boundaries of the state of Michigan.

(2) The provisions of this rule shall apply only to vessels used for recreational purposes.

ST. CLAIR RIVER, NORTH CHANNEL - WC-74-92-001 - Slow-no wake speed.

On the waters of the St. Clair river, north channel, from the intersection of the Sni Bora (Chenal A Bout Rond) downstream 2,500 yards in the north channel in a northwesterly direction, it is unlawful for the operator of a recreational vessel of any length to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

The boundaries of the lines described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

SWAN CREEK AND CONNECTING CHANNELS - R281.774.6 - Speed restriction.

6. On the waters of Swan creek and all connecting channels, commencing at its mouth at Anchor bay, Lake St. Clair, to Short Cut road, a distance of 2,770 yards more or less, township of Ira, county of St. Clair, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall exceed a slow-no wake speed.
