Explore the many ways to connect your students to nature. From virtual live lessons to in-person field trips to visits your classroom, there are so many ways we can help you get your students outside or bring the outside in!

Field trip programs

We offer a wide range of field trip options for throughout the school year for your students. Check back after the center has opened to see our options!

Nature Awaits

Nature Awaits offers every fourth grade classroom in Michigan a free, curriculum-aligned field trip to a state park led by trained DNR educators. Students also receive a free voucher to return to a state park with their families, and public schools are eligible for up to $1,000 to help cover transportation costs.
