Crooked River Lock 2025 schedule
The Crooked River Lock, owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and leased to the DNR, provides essential passage for recreational boats between Crooked Lake and the Crooked River and is a critical component of the 40-mile Inland Waterway. Under a sub-lease agreement with the DNR, the Emmet County Parks and Recreation Department operates the facility to regulate water levels for Pickerel and Crooked Lakes.
The lock is open daily April 28 to Oct. 19, 2025.
