Haven Hill Festival - Highland Recreation Area
The Haven Hill Festival is a celebration of Edsel and Eleanor Fords' historic Haven Hill Estate and the natural beauty and historic wonders of the Highland State Recreation Area in the townships of Highland and White Lake, Michigan.
The Haven Hill Festival at Highland State Recreation Area features vintage Ford cars, an 1860s-style baseball game, live brass band music, children's activities in Goose Meadow, summer foods and drinks, and Haven Hill art and history exhibits. Visitors can also enjoy self-guided tours of the Haven Hill Lodge grounds and displays at the Gatehouse, Barn, and Carriage House.
The event is free to attend (a Recreation Passport is required for park entry). Food and beverages will be available for purchase as a fundraiser supporting the Friends of Highland Recreation Area. Parking is located at the Goose Meadow picnic shelter, accessible from M-59 between Duck Lake and Bogie Lake roads.
A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit MIDNRReservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.
