Join Trivium Racing for Winter Trail Fest West at Yankee Springs Recreation Area, featuring a Half Marathon and 5 Mile trail race with run and ruck divisions. This winter trail event embraces Michigan’s late-winter conditions, with snow, mud, ice, and a memorable river crossing—or a slightly longer alternate route (+0.25 miles) for those who prefer to stay dry. A noon start gives athletes time to settle in and allows temperatures to warm slightly before heading out on the trails. Winter Trail Fest West attracts a wide range of participants, from first-time trail runners to experienced winter racers and ruckers looking for a true endurance challenge. Finish strong, enjoy the post-race atmosphere, and head to Sleepy Hollow in June for Summer Trail Fest Ultra 50K, Half Marathon, or 5 Mile to complete the connecting medal series.

Interested in volunteering? We need help on the course and at registration/the finish line! Cheer with all you've got, hand out water and gels, check in runners, and hand out those hard-earned finisher medals. We also need sweepers to keep the last runners safe and help with parking. Thank you!
