Harvests and Haunts
Harvests and Haunts
As temperatures cool and leaves change color, harvest festivals are held in many state parks in September, October and November. These family-friendly events offer activities like hayrides, pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, costume contests, haunted trails, nature programs and more.
Camping reservations can be made up to six months in advance at MiDNRReservations.com or by calling 1-800-44PARKS. We highly recommend booking early, as these popular event weekends fill up fast. Please note that activities within state park campgrounds are generally exclusive to registered campers.
