Michigan state parks social ambassadors work hand in hand with the DNR to share and curate beautiful images and videos at Michigan state parks, trails and waterways. Ambassadors partner with us to help to help build a library of stunning photos and videos as well as promote the state lands on social media. In exchange for the photos and videos, ambassadors get social media promotion and swag.
Ambassador applications will open again in October 2027 for the 2028-29 season.
We're looking for enthusiastic photographers who are at least 18 years old, love the outdoors and have a public Instagram account. You must pass a background check and cannot be a DNR employee.
