Behavioral Health

It is estimated that between 65% and 90% of nursing home residents have a mental health disorder/diagnosis, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, dementia, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. In an effort to help nursing homes care for residents with a variety of behavioral health symptoms, SLCS offers a Behavioral Health Consultation to provide education and information, review policies and procedures, and discuss measures to enhance or improve processes that are identified through onsite reviews, discussions, and observations.
