Changes to the Fingerprinting Process for Health Licensees
Effective 6/3/2015, please be advised that if a licensee has had a criminal background check (CBC) and fingerprints pursuant to MCL 333.16174(3), the licensee will not need to be fingerprinted again for another health profession license that is regulated by the Bureau of Professional Licensing. This will include temporary and limited licensees unless the limited license is a result of a disciplinary action.
Please note that this does not include a CBC when applying for reinstatement, reclassification, or relicensure of a license expired for more than 3 years.
