Security Alarm Contractor Branch Relicensure

Relicensure: Apply for relicensure if your license is in lapsed status. 

Relicensure Information

  • Complete a Security Alarm Contractor Agency Branch "Relicensure" Application through MiCLEAR by locating your 10-digit LAPSED Security Alarm Contractor Agency Branch license number that begins with "3602". Then, click on "Additional Actions". You will be required to provide the full name of the Branch Manager.

    You must have a physical location in Michigan to obtain a Security Alarm Contractor Agency Branch license, pursuant to MCL 338.1058(1)

  • In order to consider an application complete and to avoid delay of processing, the following document(s) must be uploaded as part of the application:

    • Approval of County Sheriff or Chief of Police AND County Prosecuting Attorney where the branch office is located pursuant to MCL 338.1057(3). The form can be found here.
    • Upload all outstanding Employee Rosters. The form can be found here. All employees for the agency and any branches should be combined on one Employee Roster form and is required to be uploaded into the Security Alarm Contractor Agency license record that begins with "3601".  Please do not upload Employee Rosters into this branch relicensure application. 
  • Security Alarm Contractor Branch Relicensure Fee     $100 each
