Michigan driver's licenses have been redesigned and licensees should be aware of the new license design when checking identification for alcohol sales and service. You may read more about new design on the Michigan Secretary of State website.
Licensees may also be interested in downloading and posting the Under 21 Vertical Driver's License Information Sheet that shows the vertical driver's license for people under 21 years of age that indicates it is illegal for minors to purchase, possess, or consume alcohol.
