CRA Finalizes Non-Renewal of Processor License for Mt Morris-based Sky Labs LLC

The CRA announced today the nonrenewal of the processor license for Sky Labs, LLC (License No. AU-P-000157), located at 9421 N. Dort Highway, Mt. Morris, MI 48458.

On December 3, 2024, the Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) received an application from Sky Labs for the renewal of marijuana license AU-P-000157; on January 31, 2025, the CRA issued a notice of nonrenewal denying Sky Lab’s application to renew the license. After timely requesting a contested case hearing on the matter, Sky Labs withdrew its request on June 30, 2025. Therefore, the CRA’s nonrenewal of the marijuana license is final, and license no. AU-P-000157 is closed.

Sky Labs must reconcile any remaining inventory and cease and desist further operation under this license at this time.

Past Administrative Actions

The CRA filed a formal complaint in January 2025 following a formal complaint in July 2024. In July 2023, Sky Labs surrendered its medical processor license and had stringent compliance requirements placed on its adult-use processor license due to this formal complaint, this first superseding formal complaint, this second superseding formal complaint, and this second superseding formal complaint. Due to the closure of the license, the CRA must withdraw these complaints.
