Fifth Annual MI Trades Partnership Career Fair Connects Michiganders to In-Demand Careers

DETROIT, MI - The MI Trades Partnership will host its fifth annual Career Fair on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, connecting job seekers across Michigan with high demand careers and direct access to employers.

“Michigan’s future depends on a strong, skilled workforce, and that starts with connecting people to real opportunities,” said Marlon I. Brown, Director of the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). “The MI Trades Partnership Career Fair brings employers and job seekers together in a way that opens doors and strengthens the skilled and professional trades community across our state.”

The event is designed to help individuals take the next step toward a rewarding career in fields such as construction, information technology, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet with employers actively hiring across multiple industries
  • Learn about career pathways and training opportunities
  • Explore in-demand jobs that support Michigan’s workforce needs

The career fair will be offered in both in-person and virtual formats to ensure accessibility for all participants.
