MiTN campaign finance system

The Bureau of Elections has switched to the new Michigan Transparency Network (MiTN) for all Campaign Finance electronic filings. Trainings are being scheduled to aid new and existing committees navigate the system and import data from MERTS into MiTN.

All filed data from MERTS has been migrated to the new system. Contacts and Transaction input into MERTS since January 31, 2025 will need to be imported into MiTN.

This statement closes on July 20, 2025 and is owed by Candidates not participating in an Election in 2025, all Independent, Political and Super PAC Committees, and Ballot Question Committees.

Electronic Filing for the Original and Amended Statement of Organization are now created in the new MiTN program. Please log into your MiLogin application to access MiTN. Please contact the Bureau of Elections with any questions at
