Because of national system maintenance by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA), driver’s license/ID transactions won’t be able to be completed online or at self-service stations from 2 a.m. through noon Sunday, May 11. Vehicle transactions will still be available, with the exception of online title transfers.

MiTN campaign finance system
The Bureau of Elections has switched to the new Michigan Transparency Network (MiTN) for all Campaign Finance electronic filings. Trainings are being scheduled to aid new and existing committees navigate the system and import data from MERTS into MiTN.

All filed data from MERTS has been migrated to the new system. Contacts and Transaction input into MERTS since January 31, 2025 will need to be imported into MiTN.
