DNR Echo Point Shooting Range to close for site improvements Sept. 7-17

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources Echo Point Shooting Range in Allegan County will be closed Sunday, Sept. 7, through Wednesday, Sept. 17, for construction projects aimed at improving range safety and shooting structures. The site is gated and will be posted closed, with an anticipated reopening date of Sept. 18.
Improvements include the addition of a concrete pad and placement of a shooting line structure.
These improvements are madepossible, in part, by the Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Echo Point Shooting Range is located at 3682 Monroe Road in Allegan, within Allegan State Game Area.
