Oil and Gas Lease Auction Held October 21, 2025:
A total of 52,613.48 acres of state-owned oil and gas rights were offered for lease.  There were 10 successful bidders out of 10 registered.  A total of 41,858.34 acres bid on are proposed to be leased within 5 counties.  Of the total acres bid on, 24,802.73 acres are classified as development and 17,055.61 acres as nondevelopment.  Net revenue generated at the auction was $596,849.18.
