Approximately 2,900 acres of state-owned oil and gas rights located in 4 counties are proposed to be offered for lease at an online auction October 22, 2024. Standard lease includes a five-year primary term with two one-year extension options, 1/6 royalty rate, minimum bid of $10.00 per acre, and $2.00 per acre annual rental for the primary term.

Direct Metallic Mineral Lease – Development:
This amendment replaces the previous amendment with the following described parcel classification changes:
T46N, R30W, S04, NW1/4 of NE1/4; and NE1/4 of NW1/4, which are included in the Lyme Great Lakes Timberlands project, Forest Legacy Program, the parcel classifications have been changed from Leasable Development with Restrictions (LDR) to Leasable Nondevelopment (LND). A development classification would conflict with the requirements of this department project.
