SPECIAL LOCAL WATERCRAFT CONTROLS - CHARLEVOIX COUNTY
JORDAN RIVER - R281.715.1 - Motorboats prohibited.
1. On the waters of the Jordan river in Charlevoix county, upstream from the M-32 highway bridge in section 23, town 32 north, range 7 west, South Arm township, a person shall not operate a motorboat, which means a vessel propelled by machinery.

LAKE CHARLEVOIX - WC-15-13-001 - Slow-no wake speed.
On the waters of Lake Charlevoix, Charlevoix County, Section 35 of Evangeline Township, within the boundary as follows: starting at a point on the northern shore of the F. Grant Moore Municipal Marina at coordinate 45.216024 / -85.017513, west to coordinate 45.216034 / -85.018593, southwest to coordinate 45.213448 / -85.020192, and southeast to a point on shore south of the marina at coordinate 45.212876 / -85.017975, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed. The boundaries of the area described above shall be marked with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

LAKE CHARLEVOIX, NARROWS, WC-15-01-001 - Slow-no wake speed.
On the waters of Lake Charlevoix, on that portion being south of a line North Latitude 45 15.540 as it intersects with the East and West shoreline in sections 16 and 17 of Eveline Township, and north of a line beginning at coordinate N 45 14.800 and W 85 10.571 then due north to the point where it meets Jackson's Island and due east to the shoreline, township of Eveline, county of Charlevoix, state of Michigan, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the state Uniform Waterway Marking System.
Pursuant to Section 80133 of 1994 PA 451, as amended by 2000 PA 215, being Section 324.80133 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, R281.715.2 of the Michigan Administrative Code is rescinded.

ROUND LAKE - WC-15-87-001 - Slow-no wake speed.
On the waters of Round lake, located entirely within the city limits of Charlevoix, Michigan, Charlevoix county, from the railroad right-of-way on the easternmost end of the Pine river, to the westernmost end of the lake Michigan pierhead, it is unlawful to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
