SPECIAL LOCAL WATERCRAFT CONTROLS - EMMET COUNTY
CROOKED LAKE/PICKEREL LAKE CHANNEL - WC-24-04-003-Slow-no wake speed.
On channel that connects Crooked Lake and Pickerel Lake Section 21 and 22 of T35N R4W in Littlefield Township, Emmet County it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

On channel that connects Crooked Lake and Pickerel Lake Section 21 and 22 of T35N R4W in Springvale Township, Emmet County it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

CROOKED RIVER - R281.724.2 - Slow-no wake speed.
2. On the waters of that portion of the Crooked river located in the NW 1/4 of section 36, and the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of section 35, T36N, R4W, Maple River township, Emmet county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed, which means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the vessel would be minimal.

3. On that portion of the Crooked river, located within the village limits of Alanson, Littlefield township, Emmet county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

LITTLE TRAVERSE BAY - R281.724.1 - Slow-no wake speed.
1. On the waters of Little Traverse bay, adjacent to Little Traverse township, West Traverse township, and city of Harbor Springs, Emmet county, within a line from the easternmost point of land in section 24, town 35 north, range 6 west, to where Zole street, as extended, intersects the water's edge, it is unlawful for:
(a) The operator of a vessel 26 feet of more in length to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
(b) The operator of a vessel less than 26 feet in length to exceed a slow-no wake speed in either of the following situations:
(i) When within a line from where Judd street as extended meets the water's edge to where Glen drive as extended meets the water's edge adjacent to the city of Harbor Springs.
(ii) When within 200 feet of any shore, dock, pierhead or the outer limits of a designated anchorage.

LITTLE TRAVERSE BAY - WC-24-99-001 - Slow-no wake speed.
The waters of Little Traverse Bay, adjacent to Little Traverse township, West Traverse township, and the city of Harbor Springs, Emmet county, north and west of the following courses:
Beginning at a point on the northeast of the Harbor Point subdivision where the section line between sections 13 and 24 intersects the water's edge of Harbor Springs Harbor; thence N 10º 14' E thence 1804 feet more or less to a point on a line 200 feet south of and parallel to the south line of the Harbor Springs Mooring Fields; thence along said line S88º 27' E 2494 feet more or less to a point on a line extending from the easternmost point of land in section 24, township 35 north, range 6 west, being the easternmost point of land in the Harbor Point Subdivision, to a point at the water's edge on a line parallel to, and 200 feet east of, the centerline of Artesian Street as extended; thence along said line N 25º 00' E 840 feet more or less to the water's edge being the Place of Ending.
