1. On the waters of the south branch of the AuSable river and Mud lake, sections 8, 9, and 16, town 23 north, range 1 west, Richfield township, Roscommon county, from the dam on section 8, upstream to Lake St. Helen, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

On the waters of the canals and channels connected to Houghton lake in sections 19, 20, 28, 33, T23N, R3W, Markey township, Roscommon county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
The boundaries of the lines described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

LAKE JAMES, WC-72-15-001 - Slow-no wake speed.
On the waters of Lake James, located in Denton Township, T22N R3W, Section 13, 14, & 24 of Roscommon County, and all canals and channels that lead into the main portion of Lake James, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
Slow--no wake speed means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the vessel would be minimal.
The boundaries of the area described above shall be marked with signs and/or with buoys and maintained by the Township. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

LAKE JAMES - WC-72-15-002- Slow-no wake speed.
On the waters of Lake James, located in Backus Township, T22N R2W, Section 19 of Roscommon County, State of Michigan, beginning at Roscommon Road and ending at the entrance to Shadow Lake (44.28809, -84.60822), it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.
Slow-no wake speed means a very slow speed whereby the wake or wash created by the vessel would be minimal.
The boundaries of the area described above shall be marked with signs and/or with buoys and maintained by the Township. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking system.
