Harvests and Haunts
Harvests and Haunts
When the temperatures start to cool off and the leaves begin to turn colors, many Michigan state parks play host to fall harvest festivals. Hay rides, pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, costume contests, haunted trails, nature programs and horse-drawn carriage rides are just some of the family-friendly activities taking place each September and October.
To make a camping reservation, visit MiDNRReservations.com or call 1-800-44PARKS. Camping reservations can be booked up to six months in advance, and we encourage you to book early as spots as these special event weekends end to fill up quickly.
*Activities taking place in state park campgrounds are typically open only to registered campers only.
