Celebrate Independence Day by joining our staff for the annual Kids' Bike Parade! Prior to the parade, park staff and campground hosts will offer decorations (streamers, glow sticks, balloons, mini flags, etc.) to the children wanting to add patriotic flair to their bicycles, strollers, or wagons. The parade starts promptly at noon, so please arrive at the camp host site approximately 30 minutes early (11:30am) for decorating. After decorating, kids can display their work as part of a fun parade, winding through the entire north campground, while being escorted by park staff. For more information, please contact the park at 810-327-6224. There is no additional cost, but donations towards future special events are greatly appreciated.
A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks. To make a camping reservation, visit MIDNRReservations.com or call 1-800-447-2757.
