Reserved deer hunts

Many reserved public-land deer hunts are restricted to individuals with disabilities, or to those who meet other eligibility criteria as defined by the local land manager. Do not apply for a reserved deer hunt access permit until you have determined if the hunt has special eligibility requirements.

A limited number of reserved deer hunts are available on selected state and federal public lands. Hunters may apply for a reserved deer hunt access permit from July 15 - Aug. 15, and will be selected by a random drawing. Drawing results will be posted on August 26.

A reserved deer hunt access permit authorizes the permit holder to hunt deer at a specific location on specific date(s). The access permit is not a deer kill tag; hunters must possess appropriate deer license(s) to harvest deer in accordance with statewide deer hunting regulations, and any local hunting rules and restrictions established by the local land manager.

Hunt information is provided below for each public-land area offering deer reserved hunts. Read the information carefully before applying for an access permit. Hunt choice descriptions that begin with an asterisk (*) are reserved for participants who meet specific eligibility criteria. Do not apply for a * hunt unless you are eligible.
