Oden State Fish Hatchery & Visitor Center
Oden State Fish Hatchery’s trails and viewing area are free and open to the public year-round. Please contact the Visitor Center directly at 231-348-0998 for current hours and hatchery tour times and availability.
The original hatchery opened in 1920 but was replaced by a brand-new facility in 2002 and is one of the most advanced locations of its kind. Oden rears brown trout and rainbow trout for both inland and Great Lakes waters.
