August 30, 2021 - The Marijuana Regulatory Agency will hold a public hearing on September 27, 2021, to receive public comments on the proposed rule sets. The hearing will occur at the Williams Building, 1st Floor Auditorium, 525 West Ottawa Street, Lansing, MI 48909 at 9:30am.
The proposed rule sets are available on the MRA website here and are intended to provide clarity and consistency to those working in both the medical and adult-use markets. The rule sets provide a program to license medical and adult-use marijuana businesses while implementing, administering, and enforcing appropriate standards for marijuana businesses and associated equipment. They also establish regulations ensuring the safety, security, and integrity of the operation of marijuana businesses.
Public comments on the proposed rules may be presented in person at the public hearing, via email to MRA-Legal@michigan.gov, or submitted to the following address until 5:00 P.M. on September 27, 2021:

While the public hearing will be streamed live on Zoom, all public comment on the proposed rules must be received via email, mail, or in person.
