As frontline staff at state parks and other DNR-managed recreation facilities, you'll provide customer service, perform essential functions and feed your passion for the outdoors (and your pocket). Commissioned and non-commissioned seasonal park rangers help carry out day-to-day operational and maintenance duties. They will train and provide direction to staff and volunteers; maintain grounds, infrastructure and equipment; and perform other duties as assigned. Think of the position as wearing lots of hats!
Providing excellent customer service to all visitors and ensuring personal safety, as well as the safety of coworkers and the public, are also essential functions of the position.
