ARNOLD LAKE - R281.718.11 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing; Slow-no wake zone.

11. (1) On the waters of Arnold lake, section 2, T19N, R4W, Hayes township, Clare county, it is unlawful, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. of the following day, to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, a water sled, kite, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

(2) On the waters of the canals and channels connected to Arnold lake, section 2, T19N, R4W, Hayes township, Clare county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--o wake speed.

6. On the waters of Bertha lake, sections 22 and 23, town 18 north, range 5 west, Lincoln township, Clare county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

BLUE GILL LAKE - R281.718.3 - High-speed boating and water skiing prohibited.

3. On the waters of Blue Gill lake, Frost township, county of Clare, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed.

(b) Have in tow or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

BUDD AND LITTLE LONG LAKES - R281.718.1 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing.

1. On the waters of Budd lake and Little Long lake, city of Harrison and township of Hayes, Clare county, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed.

(b) Have in tow or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

CRANBERRY LAKE - R281.718.12 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing; Slow-no wake speed zone.

12. (1) On the waters of Cranberry lake, sections 1 and 12, T19N, R4W, Hayes township, Clare county, it is unlawful, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. of the following day, to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, a water sled, kite, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

(2) On the waters of the canals and channels connected to Cranberry lake, sections 1 and 12, T19N, R4W, Hayes township, Clare county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

DODGE, SAND, BOATHOUSE, ICEHOUSE, HAVEN, AND TOWNLINE LAKES - WC-18-01-001 - Hours for high speed boating.

On the waters of Dodge Lake, Sand Lake, Boathouse Lake, Icehouse Lake, Haven Lake, and Townline Lake, in section 19, town 19 north, range 3 west, Hamilton township, Clare county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day to:

Operate a vessel at high speed.

Have in tow, or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Savings Time is in effect. "High speed boating" is defined to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

The boundaries of the area described immediately above shall be marked with signs and with buoys. All buoys must be placed as provided in a permit issued by the Department of Natural Resources and be in conformance with the State Uniform Waterway Marking System.

FIVE LAKES - R281.718.8 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing.

8. On the waters of Five lakes, sections 8, 9 and 16, T17N, R4W, Grant township, Clare county, it is unlawful, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. of the following day, to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow or otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water sled, kite, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

HALFMOON LAKE - WC-18-86-001 - High-speed boating and water skiing prohibited.

14. On the waters of Halfmoon lake, sections 22 and 23, T20N, R4W, Frost township, Clare county, it is unlawful to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, a water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

LAKE 13 - WC-18-96-001 - Hours for high-speed boating.

On the waters of Lake 13, section 13, town 17 north, range 5 west, township of Surrey, county of Clare, state of Michigan, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. the following day to:

Operate a vessel at high speed.

Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Savings Time is in effect. "High-speed boating" is defined by P.A. 451, part 801 marine safety, to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

LAKE GEORGE - R281.718.7 - High-speed boating and water skiing hours.

7. On the waters of Lake George, sections 8, 16, 17 and 21, town 18 north, range 5 west, Lincoln township, Clare county, it shall be unlawful for the operator of a vessel, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. of the following day, to:

(a) Operate the vessel at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a vessel reaches a planing condition.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

LAKE TAHO - WC-18-88-001 - Motorboats prohibited.

On the waters of Lake Taho, section 21, T18N, R6W, Freeman township, Clare county, it is unlawful to operate a vessel powered by a motor except an electric motor.

LONG LAKE - R281.718.2 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing.

2. On the waters of Long lake, Frost township, county of Clare, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

PERCH LAKE - WC-18-92-001 -Hours for high-speed boating.

On the waters of Perch lake, all within section 23, T17N, R6W, Garfield township, Clare county, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. of the following day, to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, a water sled, kite, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Savings Time is in effect. "High-speed boating" is defined by the Marine Safety Act to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

10. On the waters of the canals and channels connected to Sand, Boathouse, Icehouse, and Haven lakes, section 19, T19N, R3W, Hamilton township, Clare county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

SHAMROCK LAKE AND TOBACCO RIVER - R281.718.5 - High-speed boating and water skiing prohibited.

5. On the waters of Shamrock lake and the Tobacco river, sections 26 and 35, town 17 north, range 4 west, city of Clare, county of Clare, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat shall:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

SHINGLE LAKE - WC-18-05-001 - Hours of high-speed boating and water skiing.

On the waters of Shingle Lake, all within sections 7 and 8, town 18 north, range 5 west, Lincoln township, Clare county, State of Michigan no operator of any motorboat shall during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day (the hours shall be 7:30 p.m. to0 11:00 a.m. the following day when and where daylight savings time is in effect (R281.700.3):

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

(b) Have in tow or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

4. On the waters of Silver lake, section 30, town 18 north, range 5 west, township of Lincoln, county of Clare, state of Michigan, no operator of any motorboat, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. the following day, shall:

(a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition, or

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

13. On the waters of Surrey lake, sections 21 and 22, T17N, R5W, Surrey township, Clare county, it is unlawful, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. of the following day, to:

(a) Operate a vessel at high speed.

(b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, a water sled, kite, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

9. On the waters of the canals and channels connected to Townline lake, section 19, T19N, R3W, Hamilton township, and section 24, T19N, R4W, Hayes township, Clare county, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow-no wake speed.

TOWNLINE LAKE - WC - 18 - 01 - 002 - Hours for high speed boating

On the waters of Townline Lake, in section 24, town 19 north, range 4 west, Hayes township, Clare county, state of Michigan, it is unlawful between the hours of 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day to:

Operate a vessel at high speed.

Have in tow, or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard or other similar contrivance.

The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Savings Time is in effect. "High speed boating" is defined to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.

(b) Have in tow, or shall otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.

The hours should be 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. of the following day when Eastern Daylight Saving Time is in effect. "High-speed boating" is defined by the Marine Safety Act to mean a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition.
