Belle Isle facility reservations and commercial use
Shelter reservations
Shelter reservations can be made up to one year in advance. Visit DNR-BelleIsleParkEvents@michigan.gov or in-person (by appointment only).
Commercial use requests can be made via email to DNR-BelleIsleParkEvents@michigan.gov or in-person (by appointment only).
Deposits can be made at the Belle Isle Park administration office, 99 Pleasure Dr., Detroit, MI 48207. Cash (no mailed cash), credit cards, certified checks or money orders are accepted.
Event applications & rental agreements
- Event application (host an organized/advertised event)
- Tent permit application (put up a tent larger than 10' x 10', must have an approved shelter or event space)
- Alcohol permit application (consume alcoholic beverages in the park, must have an approved shelter or event space)
- Inflatable permit application (have a bounce house on the park, must have an approved shelter or event space)
