A FREE family fun event to see who can catch the biggest fish in Lake Minnawanna on the Michigan DNR Free Fishing Weekend. No fishing license required!  Fun prizes will be awarded to the largest fish (by weight) caught in each age group: youth and adult.  Participants must sign-in on the day of the event but there is no registration fee.

Open to all ages. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.  Children must be able to catch their own fish and present it themselves for weigh-in.  All fish must be of legal size and all DNR fishing rules apply.  Participants should bring their own fishing gear and bait.  Bait may be purchased at the Campground Store.  

Registration will take place the day of the event at the park. 
This event will take place rain or shine. It will only be cancelled in the case of severe weather.
