We are excited to announce that Bay City State Park has partnered with Scouting America, Girl Scouts and Great Start Collaborative Bay-Arenac Counties for our Third Annual Touch-A-Truck & Scout Day in the Park. This year event will take place September 12th, 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. This event will feature a wide variety of Trucks, tractors, equipment that your kiddos can check out, up close and in person. You can also participate in fun activities with Scouts like Pinewood derby racing, Archery& Sling Shot ranges, how to setup a tent, rock climbing walk and more!
Last year event was a blast with all the activities, trucks and vendors to be topped off by MSP & Flight Care Helicopters landing in the park for kids to climb in and see. The plans are in the works for them to return this year! stay tune for updates by checking out our Facebook page, "Bay City State Park"
Also on hand will be community resource informational booths. We hope you join us by getting outdoors for a fun filled day event!
