How to Submit Comments
The table below lists the proposed policies, interpretations, and regulations under consideration by the Pesticide Program. The table provides the reference number, name or subject, status, and contact information for each proposal. Use the table to find each proposal’s status column which indicates the draft or final status of a proposal, links to open comment periods and submission forms, and other related resources when available.
Consider the following when submitting comments:
- The most useful comments explain why proposed action is beneficial or harmful.
- If important points are missing from a proposed action or the conclusion is based on wrong assumptions, point this out in your comment and describe exactly what is wrong and why.
- If possible, commenters should describe alternative information or actions.
The submission form provided for each proposal in the table is the most efficient method to submit comment. If you cannot submit comment using this form, you may submit comment by email to MDARD-Pesticide@Michigan.gov or by mail to: ATTN PPPM - Pesticide Section, PO Box 30017 Lansing, MI 48909
Comments mailed or emailed to MDARD must include the proposal number, proposal name/subject, your stance on the proposal, and any additional comments. MDARD will not accept mailed or emailed comments that lack these elements.
