The Van Buren Conservation District is hosting their first ever multi-stop bus tour featuring regenerative farm practices. The Regenerative Ag Road Show will highlight four unique farms with different conservation practices. The VBCD invites farmers and agricultural professionals to come, listen, and learn as Van Buren County farmers share successes and challenges of their journey towards regenerative ag.
Featured practices include rotational pastures, grazing cover crops, no-till, pollinator strips, sustainable apples, and multispecies cover crops in vegetables. Every farmer will learn something to help in the transition to a more regenerative system. Attendance is free and lunch is included. RSVP is required for day-of details.
