Young State Park - Harvest Festival

Begin the weekend on Friday evening with campsite decorating and pumpkin selection for the pumpkin carving contest from the park’s pumpkin patch (pumpkins provided). The evening continues with a kids’ movie at dusk in the day-use area, complete with popcorn and apple cider.

On Saturday morning, gather in the day-use area for doughnuts and coffee or hot chocolate, followed by a variety of children’s games. The afternoon features a kids’ costume contest, leading into trick-or-treating throughout the campground.

The day concludes with fun, family-friendly activities, along with judging for the campsite decorating and pumpkin carving contests.

Please note: The campsite decorating and pumpkin carving contests are open to registered campers only. All other activities are open to the public. Campers are encouraged to bring candy to share with trick-or-treaters.
