Residence Hall

Students who live on the MCTI campus will find the dormitory, cafeteria, classrooms, library, and health and leisure services all housed in the same building — an especially convenient feature during Michigan winters. Each dormitory room is double occupancy with four students to a suite. Each suite has its own bathroom, and each room is supplied two beds and a shared bathroom. The dormitory can accommodate 350 students.
  • The dormitory offers the following features:

    • Double occupancy rooms, four students per suite.
    • Each suite has its own bathroom.
    • Room dimensions: 12 ft. x 11 ft.; closet: 7 ft. x 2 ft.
    • 24/7 security and supervision.
    • Ceiling fans in each room.
    • Private telephone line with unlimited local calls (personal calling cards needed for long distance).
    • Free Wi-Fi.
    • Students must bring towels, bedding, toiletries, etc. Cleaning supplies, garbage bags, and toilet paper are available in the canteen area.
  • The cafeteria, adjacent to the dormitory, offers:

    • Meal tickets included in tuition, room, and board.
    • 21 meals per week.
    • Variety of foods with unlimited salad, soup, beverage, and dessert bar.
    • Special diets and "Heart Smart" meals.
    • Visitor meal tickets available for a nominal charge.
  • For students without personal vehicles, MCTI provides free round-trip transportation to:

    • Kalamazoo bus/train station.
    • Local shopping areas.
    • Off-campus medical facilities.
    • Off-campus Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous activities.
