    At the end of the program, students can participate in study sessions to prepare for the State of Michigan competency exam.

  • Job opportunities for nursing assistants are in nursing homes, home care, assisted living, and hospitals and private duty. Starting pay may range from the current minimum wage to a higher amount depending on the location of the job.

  • Students are subjected to a background screening as outlined in public acts 27, 28 and 29 (2006). Students must not have pending charges and remain drug-free. Students will interview with instructors before acceptance.
