Dispute Review Board
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) established a Dispute Review Board (DRB) procedure. The DRB process evaluates and provides recommendations as to the entitlement of claims arising out of the work on contracts. The DRB process is used on projects which have incorporated the Special Provision for Dispute Review Board. These projects will follow the DRB procedure rather than MDOT’s written claim procedure.
