Transportation Career Pathways Program (TCPP)
Transportation Career Pathways Program (TCPP)
Welcome to the MDOT Transportation Career Pathways Program!
The Transportation Career Pathways Program (TCPP) was created as a platform to help showcase the professions within MDOT. Through our efforts, we hope to provide knowledge and awareness of career opportunities in the transportation industry to individuals across Michigan.
TCPP is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate a successful career path within the transportation industry. To aid in this effort, TCPP offers a workforce development program that is tailored for individuals seeking hands-on immersive experiences.
Embark on a journey that aligns with your passion for transportation and sets the stage for your future success within MDOT. We are committed to helping you build a fulfilling and rewarding career in the transportation industry.
Participants must be 18 years old prior to the start of the program and possess a valid driver's license. The program runs from May through September. Participants will work 40 hours a week and may join later in the season if needed. This program provides competitive compensation, connections with industry professionals at career fairs, targeted professional development, and insights through job shadowing experiences that are all geared toward building a strong foundation for your future in the transportation industry.
Let's explore the possibilities together!
