The Maintenance/Operations Services Section provides specialized skills, technical support and training to MDOT regions to help ensure safe roads for the traveling public, maintain the serviceability of the highway system and support facilities, and preserve the state’s investment in transportation infrastructure. Maintenance advisories and memos support this work by promoting statewide uniformity in how maintenance practices are interpreted and applied.
