About the Region

The University Region manages more than 4,100 lane miles of state trunkline in nine counties. In addition to the region office, there are three transportation service centers, five garages, one special crews garage, and two welcome centers.

Regions and TSCs work with local governments, elected officials, stakeholders, and residents to ensure positive transportation decisions that keep people and goods moving safely, efficiently, and reliably through the region.
