MDOT's Office of Business Development (OBD) manages external civil rights programs, such as the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, the On-the-Job Training Program, and the Small Business Program, and ensures compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, equal opportunity requirements for contractors, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

FieldManager

FieldManager is a software suite used to manage road, bridge and airport construction projects. The software is used by MDOT field offices, local government agencies, engineering consultant firms, and construction contractor firms throughout Michigan. FieldManager produces substantial budgetary savings as the use of the software saves the State of Michigan over $28.5 million per year.
